I went to the street party on Hamilton Road! A street party is where the road is closed and you're allowed to run around in the road. We had a street party to meet lots of new friends on our road. We put out a long sheet of paper on the pavement so people could paint on it and we sold our own cakes. I met some new friends called Amber and Ruby. Amber lives at number 18 but I don't know which number Ruby lives at. Amber and Ruby had their own shop too, they sold JUNK THINGS! I played a ball game with my Dad, Amber, Ruby, someone in a kind of swim suit, some little kids and someone called Sian.
