Kensuke's Kingdom

Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo

Michael Morpurgo I think is a very good writer. I love this book. It is my second favourite book in the whole wide world. Michael is a boy who is washed up on an island after falling off his boat, the Peggy Sue. Luckily his dog, Stella Artois, is with Michael. At first he feels very, very, very angry and upset. He hasn't got any food, any water - in the end he curls up to die. But when he wakes up he finds a bowl of water, a bowl of fish and a bowl of fruit. He isn't alone. It takes time to find out who it is but in the middle of the story you will find out - Kensuke! Michael is very lucky because if he was alone it would be even worse!

Kensuke talks about Hokusai, a famous painter. I have got a picture under this writing.

Jimmy, I love your blog!

By the way, that's one of my favourite paintings.
